Marshmallow Icing

1 1/3 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cold water

1 Tablespoon white corn syrup

Blend the above in a sauce pan over medium high heat bring to a boil string constantly.  Cook until the mixture spins a permanent thread.  Remove from heat.

1 egg white (pasteurized)

In a separate bowl beat egg white until stiff.

6 large marshmallows

Cut up marshmallows and add to egg white. Gradually add hot syrup while beating constantly.

1 teaspoon vanilla

Add & beat until mixture holds a peak.
