Prepare one day ahead of time and set in the refrigerator overnight.
Combine in a medium sauce pot.
1 cup heavy cream
8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Stir over medium high heat until mixture it begins to boil. Turn off and remove from heat. When cooled place in a container and refrigerate over night.
When ready to assemble place container in the microwave on defrost in 30 second intervals and stir until mixture is the consistency similar to spreadable margarine from the refrigerator.
