Dessert / Simple Syrup

2/3 cup of sugar

1 cup water

__________________________________________________________________________________________

Bring to a boil, then simmer 10 minutes. After syrup has cooled add 1/3 cup of liqueur of your choice. If desired. Refrigerate until use.

*For the Decadent Torte I usually add Creme de Cocoa

*Chocolate Fluff roll you can add Creme de Menthe Liquor

*Sponge Cakes with Fruit:  Add Passion Fruit Liquor, Grand Marnier or  Banana-Flavored.
